Infused Meads
Simply, a finished mead that has been infused to create an interesting pairing.
Historically, mead would be infused with herbs or plants to extract the botanical benefits into the drink.
These were country medicines, and known as Metheglin (from Welsh meddyglyn, from meddyg healer (from Latin medicus medical) + llyn liquor)
We use many infusions, such as our famous coffee mead!
